My deepest sympathy to Bev, Lanick and the rest of the family, on the passing of my dear aunt Etta. Aunty was such a sweet, loving person. She was loved by everyone that came in contact with her. As far as I can remember as a child I was attached to her. She was loved by all her family, each one, was very special to her. She was always willing to give a helping hand to those who were in need.I remember during my mom illness, she would come and spent time with me and mom. and when my mom passed, she came and stayed with me for awhile...I can still here her calling me "Mama Baby"...I have cried many tears, but God knows best...He had given her to us for 94 yrs,which I count as blessing. She will be remembered by many folks for her gentle hug and that KISS on the cheek.If you have never gotten a kiss from her, then you maybe have never met her...

I would like to express my condolence to all the families of Miss Etta.
Miss Etta was one of the nicest lady I knew while growing up as a child.
I would look forward to seeing her in the mornings as I walked to school and can remember these words "how is my baby today" accompanied by a big hug.

Rest in peace my lovely Miss Etta you will be sadly missed.

I am very saddened to learn of the passing of miss Etta, she was one kind lady i remember my childhood days at Sandy bank primary she used to give every child shave ice and syrup in their hand, u wonder sometimes how she survive,by giving away so much, she will be missed, sleep on and take your rest,we love u but your heavenly father loves u best. To Bev Lanick and the rest of her families be strong, i know you will have some good memories to cherished,god bless u all.

As for her gratercakes and snowball really nice. You will miss her dearly but she's in a better place with her maker.

My condolence to Etta's family including Bev and Lanick and the rest of the family she was always loved by me she caled me Ettie not Etna when i went to have my first born Jeff christened at Pedro Plains Church she accompaied me to the event. I only knew Miss Etta in the last 2/3 years of her life .. and despite the fact she was bed-ridden and dependent on her family to do everything for her, she always managed a huge warm smile and exuded grace and humor.

Wish I had known her longer ..

Hi family sorry i could not be there for the funeral but my prayers is with my aunty etta will always remember my kisses aunty.

Iam sadden to learn of the death of miss Etta. She was so good to us as little children when we were going to school. Her kindness I never forgot. Her greatercakes were the most delicious you could find around, and she is always making sure to give a little 'brata' on top.Everybody was family to her.
