Congratulations to Cookie and her collaborators for their work on this absolutely beautiful book. The awards are very well deserved.

We picked up a copy at Calabash House last visit to Treasure Beach. It nearly put us overweight on our luggage when we returned home! Now we can flip it open to any page and be instantly transported back to Jamaica. You can almost smell and taste the photographs. The only problem is that it takes at least 1/2 hour to find anything in the book because no matter how many times I open it up I always get sidetracked by some fascinating story or person or place I'd love to visit.

More than a cookbook or a book about food, Nyam Jamaica is a journey throughout Jamaica and it''s a journey you can rejoin each time you open it up and see again familiar faces smiling back at you!

Big up Cookie, Rosemary, Norma, and Marie-France!

Is this book for sale in Treasure Beach or local bookstores? I would love to be able to obtain one as soon as possible.

Tried on Amazon.com and they were out and didn't know if they'd be getting it back in stock. Tried on Kingston and couldn't find it. Tried at the Mermaid Gallery in TB and they were out. Cookie Kinkead may know where to find one.
