We are extremely saddened -- and shocked -- to announce the untimely death of Jenolee Spence Parchment, wife of Calvin Parchment, and mother of Tanice, Ritchie, and Melissa. Jen always had a smile on her face and went out of her way to help anyone. Many people will remember her as the sweet lady who ran the tiny shop next to Miss Verlin's home. She will be sadly missed by her family, friends, and neighbors -- as well as the many guests who came to know her when they stayed at Rainbow Tree over the past 18 years.

Jen, may you be in the arms of the angels. May your family find comfort in their wonderful memories of you.

May you rest in peace.

I would like to add my condolences to the family and friends of Miss Jen. As we wake this morning the shock is being replaced with a deep, deep grief.

My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

I am so sorry to hear this devastating news of Jen's untimely and quite unexpected death. I will always remember her cheerfulness and quietness. I enjoyed her little shop. My heart goes out to Calvin. I'm sure he must have a deep hole in his heart now as well as his lovely children. The whole village must be very sad. My thoughts and prayers go out to Calvin, the family and all the others who knew and were touched by Jen. Indeed she must be a new star in the sky to shine upon all the fishermen and families in the village and bring comfort.

We were exceedingly upset when we announced Jen's death. In our grief, we regret we failed to mention Jen's eldest son, Everol, a fine young man whom we have known since he was a child. Everol resides in Canada, though he comes back to Treasure Beach to visit his family on a fairly frequent basis. Our profound apologies.

This is certainly a shock and a great loss. jen was a wonderful wife, caring mother and an ambitious individual. She lived life with such calm and peace and no doubt she will be missed.

My deepest sympathy goes out to my Uncle and all of her children. I know this is an extremely difficult time and i know from experience that words are never sufficient to remove the hurt but it can and will get easier over time.

This is your moment to grieve and i hope you can feel the support and love of your family and friends as you do so.

I love you all.

We are shocked and so very, very saddened to hear about Jen. We send our deepest condolences to her family and friends.

Jen had such a lovely quiet way about her, and the most wonderful smile. She was definitely one of the many people in Billy's Bay who made our stays there so memorable. We will never forget her.

To set the record straight, Jen Parchment was the wife of Calvin Parchment who is the caretaker of Rainbow Tree. This is a different person from JENNY Clarke who is still employed as one of the housekeepers at Rainbow Tree.

I do not know this person but, seeing I'm from Treasure Beach I'm here to send my condolences to her husband and his family.
We do not have to know someone to reach out to them in times of grief or need.
May her soul rest in peace, and may the family find strength in each other to carry on.
