Please tell us more about "Mud View Master." Of all listed, that one got me wondering.

Yes Van
As Kids we used to love when it rained so that we could make all different things from the mud, which included 'Mud View Master'. The mud was similiar to clay dough which the kids use now.
The actual view master is used to show slides. We used to make a fake one and shape it similiarly by using broken coloured glass as the two lens (similiar to a camera). This was then hardened and we used it as a toy.
We even had our special mud hill where we used to get the real mud dough (haha - memories!)

Oh yeah - I remember getting hit with the Cork and tar ball on my shin more than once. This probably explains partly why I have so much pain in my two feet today. Anyway, whenever this happened one would usually just drop the bat and rub it or bawl depending on the speed of the bowler and the ball. A lot of times this would be the end of the batsman innings as he can't take another bounce. What a risk for runs!
