Does anybody remember when 'big' boys wore short pants to school? Or when teacher sent the boys to cut the switch for beating them and the boys used to 'joint' the switch. The minute teacher started the beating the switch fell apart.

Answers(1)Marble game ,ring and tay and carum,is what you say before we tring the marble , meaning whatever happen unless you got stuck in the ring (tring is a word we used whenever we used our fingers to move the marble) only people in Treasure Beach will understand because we play by different rules.

Answer (2)Marble game,Backa is the line you draw ,where you throw the marble to start the game ,whoever get in the line first start the game unless you hit someone else marble then you will go first.
Answer(3)cricket and handbat .Jackaman is the odds person.(for example 11 or 13 player) you have 5 or 6 per side so the Jackaman will be the odds person ,rules are, the Jackaman can only field and bat on both side but cannot pitch or bowl.Head Scratcher hope i help for know ,some of the words are just subjective to these games.

You got me on (3) TB. I played cricket back in the day in both Primary and High Schools and am not familiar with the term. Thanks for the lesson. Shows we're never too old to learn.

By the way, do the Primary schools still compete against each other in cricket, and during which month? I'm hoping I'll have some time in the not too distant future in helping out in some small way.

Answer (4)Shebby, take a cut is at the start of the game ,when you send out your fastest runner to be chase by the opposite team, you pass their base before being chase
Answer(5)Shebby ,two game one prisoner is how you score the game ,one game is when you touches your opponent base or whenever you got all of the your opponent out ,prisoner is when you get your opponent out and they go out to form a line (i think its call stretch).
