It is such a pleasure to read about the good ole days, my mother Ms. Mike taught her children, her church, and her community well. (Hello to all her God children) I remember my mama for her voice and the flowers in her garden. She made the world so much brighter. Is see her and hear her voice in her grandchildren. Gary, Micheal, Jason, Fred, Stacy, and Peta Gay and guess what??The greatgrands, all 9 still look a lot like her and have some of her wonderful attributes. God Bless and Prosper Treasure Beach where it all began!!

Miss Mike baked the very best wedding cakes in Treasure Beach and for miles around!

If there was going to be a wedding Miss Mike had to bake the cake.

I can almost taste a slice now!

Miss Mike was a blessing to now. I remember as a little girl going to Brother Ken sunday school, we would stop a Miss Mike on the way home, knowing we would get a peice of her cake or something to eat. With no money one child would go up her back step and as some as she give her something, all the rest would be there.A whole cake done.God bless her soul

Yes Miss Atilly too. She and Miss Mike baked all the wedding cakes together. They were a team and best friends also.

Thanks for asking about my mother. Please say who you are, maybe I was at your wedding.(smile)I left Jamaica at the young age of 26 to reside in Canada but, most of my younger years were spent in Kingston
School/Work.
I loved both ladies they sure were two of Treasure Beach "TREASURES".
Love TB.

Hey Jenny! glad to remember Aunt Mike! This is the first time I am going to call her 'aunt', I guess aunt and mike didn't fit too well together(an oxymoron) why all her life we called her Miss Mike!! I hope you get a laugh out of that. She was such a gentle soul, the perfect match for Uncle Pepper! Someone paid him a nice compliment by saying he doesn't know me but asked if I am related to Neville Reynolds, as I seem to be a 'stand up guy'. Jenny I am sorry I was unable to celebrate your birthday in TB with you,but I will be sure to do so when you decide to visit again,DV.
