In memory of my dear Uncle Johnny, who went away on Snowboy. Uncle I remember the Sunday morning you left to catch old man truck for Kingston to board Snowboy. We did not know that when you stop at the market to wave at us , that it was your last goodbye.

I was only nine years old then, but I will always remember and cherish the memories I have of you.
You are gone but never forgot, as everyone says I look like you, with the pretty green eyes, and beautiful smile.
You will always have a special place in my heart, I loved you in life and I will continue to love you in death.

Love your niece Nanlin

I was only eight years old then, that terrible morning when my dear Uncle Johnny left home so joyful not knowing that he would not return home to us. It is now 43 years ago but his memories still live on in my heart.
He was such a fun loving person, very vibrant man. I love you uncle. May your soul rest in peace.

Your niece Vean

I will always remember the last time I saw my uncle Johny, and heard his tender voice when he told us he was going to the cays for the last time, he had just finish his house and was going back to get money to furnish it.We were looking forward to the day when he would move in his house and become our neighbor, but that dream never came to fruition, as we all know he became a victim of the sea. He was so kind and affectionate, he loved laughter, I can still hear him laughing.
Uncle your memories live on in my heart, you will always be loved and remembered,we still miss you.
your niece Berbeth.

Our mother had a lot of fond memories of her brother Johnny whom she loved dearly. Most of us wish we had met Uncle Johnny, just to touch him and hear him speak, his life and story is an inspiration, and though he is long gone, he will live in our hearts forever. May his soul rest in peace.
(The Wiggan Family)

Some people come into our lives and quickly go
Some people move our souls to dance
They awaken us to new understanding with the passing whisper of their wisdom
Some people make the sky more beautiful to gaze upon
They stay in our lives for awhile, leave footprints in our hearts
And we are never, ever the same

That was on my 19th birthday 1/7/62 I can remember uncle Janny asking me to go with him to the key, but I came to the UK. instead, if I did went with him I would have die on my 19th birthday, the Lord had save me from going with him, he was such a loving person, but as the saying, only the good die young, that is right he was very caring about his family, RIP uncle and all those that was on the snow boy.
