my deep and sincere symphty goes out to the family of my dear friend hursley (ICE MAN)moxam .no one feel the pain like you mama suzi, but have no regrets for ALLAH knows best and your boy was good .you'll see him in the next life mama.(insha-allah).

I never had the pleasure of meeting Precke, but I do have the pleasure of knowing his wonderful mother, Aunty Suzie. Anyone who knows her can testify that she is one of the most sincere people one could meet in this lifetime. I imagine her son to be much like her. RIP Precke and keep your head high Aunty Suzie, from what I hear you raised a good man, someone to be proud of!!

Our dear,sincere,Precke just miss you, still can't believe the tragedy but I know for sure if we can't find you in this life,I'm sure that we'll meet in the next.

Iam praying where ever he is, God is with him. He was a wonderful cousin, brother, nephew and a great son to his parents. He is surely missed.

Death leaves a heartache no one can heal,love leaves a memory no one can steal.
No farewell words were spoken,no time to say goodbye...you were gone,and only God knows why.

My sympathy goes out to Hursley Moxam's friends and family{Precke}. He was truly a special person to all who knew him.He was taken suddenly but hopefully he is gone to a better place.God bless his soul.

Oh little precke. I had no Idea that you had passed. this came as a shocked to me. I left Treasure Beach for a long while, and I have not been back in a long time either, so I had no idea that Precke had passed. He was such a nice young boy. Moses fish with my dad for many years, infact they were in Nicaragua togeher. My sympathy goes out to the family Suzie may god continue to bless your family.

I made friend with Precka in the 7th grade at Newell school, we stay friends over the years, he was always good far a joke in english or spnish, school would not be the same without him, I miss you, my sympathy goes out to the familey.

Precke, my cousin, God be with you and your soul. I will never forget the times that I have known you and have had the priveledge to be around you. I remember the time when you stole my crush and told me I was too young for her. Very slick ;-) Hey, at least she was "knighted" by one Moxam sword. I will live my life in your honor knowing that you were loyal to your family to the very end.

Precke was young and brave, and he even inspired me. There was a time when The Miss Rita was sinking in the raging seas and he was the sole volunteer to jump overboard to repair the ship in the middle of a storm off the Caribbean Gulf. Neither the hired Hundurians nor Jamaicans onboard would go- not even the engineer. For this, and your many other selfless acts I honor you.

Precke i rememeber it like it was yesterday when you, Chinna, and Tamara use to go to seaside and i alway wanted to come you always make joke and say to me go back (Tail) and from that day upon today that name is still used. I will always remember you and i know you are happy where you are,as much as i know how much you were loved.

I only knew Precke after living in Treasure Beach and being at South Jammin. But i know he was a wonderful person, and although he is gone I know he will live on in the memories of all of us who knew him. May his soul REST IN PEACE.

I remember the night of Ivan, as yesterday, talking to Precke just before the phone lines went dead and these are the last words from my brother that i got."di wave dem a broke pon di boat sis but dont worry beda alright tell nana (which is mommy)am ok and a love you sis and see you lata" and that was it up ontil this day i sit and wait to see if he would ever return but he still have not. One day i hope to see him again along with the rest of the family and friends, until that day we just have to keep strong and keep him in our memory and never let him faid from our hearts.

Ever since my brother has gone left us behind, my heat ache and my reasoning for living dont seem the same. i know in my heart that he is still out there somewhere and he speaks to me quiet often in my dreams. my tears runs everyday for him and the pain that he's left behind is an bearable, but i know that someday i will see him again and for now i will miss him and i will love him more and more. the pain is like a sore that never heel and the gap that is still there is like hole going deeper and deeper, i have two sons and it makes me cry to know that one of my son still ask for his uncle and the other one will never know him. one day i will have to sit him down and tell him what happen to his uncle, their is nothing in this world that ever make it easy for me to tell my two sons about thier uncle that hasn't come home from sea. i love you with all my heart and my soul is with you and i will always look out for you in my dreams as you and i still do. love you brother.

My heart goes out to the family much of whom i do Know personnaly, i was so sad when i heard the news about Precke he is much younger than i am , but i remember him from school days . He and my sister Denise were classmates. I encourage all who Knew him to remember the fun times. To the family continue to be strong Ms Susie i haven't seen you in awhile. the next time i am in Treasure Beach i will have to visit. I still remember Precke as if it was yesterday,he was a dear cousin and a friend.We went to school together,run up and down through Gilpin,went to Great Bay to look pancakes and did so many fun things together.I still can't believe he's gone.
I want to tell Suzie,Chinna,Pancia,Moses,Arlene,Ardette and all the other family members,you are not alone in your loss,be strong and keep praying.Remember miracles do happen.

I know there is none braver than an the 'bow oarman' so draw strength from this and please accept our condolences. Some of you may remember daddy(Lansford F. 'Dickie' Moxam)he left Bluntas in 1956; the stories of his trade and it's characters are so vivid, so my heartfelt sympathy to the family.

I've only just found this forum so hope you don't mind the late posting of our message.

Only a few days ago, his name kept popping up in my head. I wondered how I could get in contact with him. A friend of mine told me about this site, and i decided to go on. It's only then I saw his name and I am still in shock. I had no idea he was gone! All of 2 years now. His sister and I used to go to school. All I can remember most about him was his smile. He was a truly fun loving person. So genuine. I can't believe it.

Im here reading all the comment of my cousin Precke and tears come to my eye knowing your gone but i hope we will meet again. We will always remember the kind loving person you were and how caring you were especially for your mother Auntie Suzie and Jordean.It's really sad knowing you left us so early nd tragic sadly missed and will never br forgotten.R.I.P my cousin.

these days i miss you even more, i cry all the time specially on my birthday, i say good-night to you and i think about you all the time, specially when jordean gets in problems, he ask for you all the time he misses you every much, you was always their for him, you use to say to me that you are only going to build a house for you mom and jordean and the girls can find their own. i miss you so much and i pray that i will see you soon and i know you are gone,you have just left us for a bit but you will be back.
