The idea is simple. If you think you know the answer to one of the following questions, send us an email with your guess. We're hoping a lot of people will include interesting stories and anecdotes about the places and people shown.
In a few days we'll reveal the winners and everyone's replies.
What is this? | Where is this? |
And the winners are...
TOURIST:
1) Kathy Elllis had the first correct answer into us 20 minutes after the question was posted:
This beautiful flower is a Hibiscus. I know, cause a friend of mine gave me seeds from his Hibiscus bush, and I brought them back to the states with me. I planted them in pots, and low and behold, two years later, I have 5 foot tall trees loaded with flowers that look just like these. Thank you, Tankoo! -Kathy in Michigan
2) Miss Amy of Billy's Bay was second:
The first picture is of hibiscus....which is abundant in that region.
YARDIE:
1) No one correctly identified the spot as being at Wyno's repair across from Jakes/Pot Snapper.
But Miss Amy was the closest and only entry, even though she did flagrantly flout the rules by entering into both categories. We'll let it slide this time, though ;-)
Thanks for playing and let's see if anyone else has some good stories about these places and people.

Thanks to the TB network for all the info they have posted on the local residents. This is my first time getting acquainted and i was happy to see some of the elderly that i remembered as a young girl getting profiled. All the past and present teachers of Sandy Bank Primary are still looking good. God Bless.
