IDIT-08-2004

This is a special 'Old Timer's" I.D. It.

Can you tell us the name of this popular mento band who used to play the Treasure Beach 'circuit' back in the days? And for extra points, the names of the individual players.

We'll keep all answers in a queue for about a week to not give away the answer too soon.

We would like to thank Don and Brad Noel, owners of Villa Hikaru, for this photo. We apologize for the quality of the photo, but considering it is 17 years old and was taken with a flash camera, it ain't bad!

Enjoy!

This is the Treasure Beach Bucaneers. That is Joel in the background with the dark glasses. Heard them play many times, even at one of my own parties! Also Hicks was in the band.

The popular band was known as the Bucanneers.

I think the members were: Joel, Hicks, Endley, Glen, and Shadie

You are right on everyone, especially Julie and TBGirl! Endley Parchment singing, Joel Elliott on banjo, Vincent Smalling on the rumba box. Glen Mills is hidden behind Mr. Endley and Toku aka Clarence Buchanan in the blue shirt.

I understand they were 'the' band in their day.

Thanks to all who participated in the I.D. It and watch out for the next one coming soon!

Vincent Smalling(Barnett, hicks), Enley Parchment (stripe shirt), Glen Mills (behind enley), Mack Richie (guitar) and Joel Bango. Isn't that Mack not Toku?
