profile

Mrs. Carmen Sutherland was born and grown in Treasure Beach, St. Elizabeth which she considers to be the better part of Jamaica.

She is from a family of eight children, six girls and two boys. Mrs. Sutherland says she is a humble, hard working woman in her community and considers herself a role model. She is married for almost thirty years and has two sons. She is the proud grandmother of little six month old Danielle whom she adores.

Carmen and her husband Morris believe in living up to the golden rule, "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you." She likes to show love and be loved.

One of her greatest achievements in life is to be the proud owner of Tiffany's Restaurant [see her ad in Eat and Play], a dream she had as a teenager. This dream became a reality on the 3rd of July 1993. She enjoys doing her own business and says she is always commended for having such a fine restaurant. Her husband Morris is also the proud owner of Q-EN Coffee Shop. They are both proud to serve their community and the wider society as their business places attract a lot of tourists. She thinks that the community should do all they can to keep tourists coming in.

Regards to Miss Carmen and Janeille,

You both look so beautiful! Janeille, what a lovely profile you wrote! I can't believe you're in grade 6....it seems like just the other day I watched your graduation from Basic School...I wish you continued success!

And Miss Carmen, I can't tell you how much I miss walking by Tiffany's and seeing your smiling face! Please send my love to your whole family...especially to the new addition, Danielle! Congratulations once again.

I hope to make it to Treasure Beach over Christmas. Until then, I'll have to send my regards via the internet.

And if you see Miss Ruby, please let her know how much I love her....

Miss Amy

Hi Auntie Carmen, it's been a long time since I've seen you and there you are posted on the web. I guess it's really inspirational to see that your dream has come true and something like that gives others motivation to do the same thing.
Send my love to the whole family.

I ate at Tiffany's just last week while in TB w/ my boyfriend and I saw a beautiful woman sitting inside w/ long dark hair, a pretty pink blouse and flowers in her hair and wondered if she owned the place. Come back to see Carmen's profile on the website and there she is herself! I seriously wolfed down their baked jerk chicken and relished in a cool papaya drink, a lovely and romantic evening it was @ Tiffany's. We send all good vibes back to Carmen's family and all the other TB families and business, keep flourishin!!

Respect & Love,
Tina & Brian from Chicago

Greetings to you Carmen! Seeing your smiling face here on my computer was a great way to start my day! Not as good as chatting with you and Morris about this and that, but still a pleasure to see.
By the way, does Danielle still have hair, or have you and Morris kissed her bald???
I miss you all!
Love,
Andi

I Carmen: nice to see your smiling face on the NET. It's such a great joy to see friends in the district being successful. I am happy to share this joy with both you and Morris, even though I am far away. It was nice to see you all back in December, and hope to see you all again soon. By the way "how does it feel to be a grand mother"?
Love you all
Medlyn

You have a great restaurant and I am looking forward to eating there again soon! Thank you and the rest of TB for making my first trip to Jamaica pleasurable and memorable.

Unfortunately when we were in Treasure Beach we never had the pleasure of meeting Carmen; but we did eat at Tiffany's a number of times. One member of my group could not get enough of the chicken fricassee. Also, because we stayed at Golden Sands we saw Morris every day. What a fabulous man, we really enjoyed giving him our business (Jenna especially appreciated his coffee). Treasure beach was the perfect get-away spot for us and we will definitely be back (and next time Iâll bring my baby).

It's nice seeing you on profile. It feels so good when one of our own is helping to build the community by starting businesses and in doing so creating employment for those in the community also. I wish you and Morris success in your business endeavours.

Good to see you Carmen. I know this is late, (ie compared to the other respondees) but hey! I never get time to learn how to browse the net. I just found this sight while wolfing down some lunch and surrounded by work. This taste nothing like your goodies at Tiffany's. Keep doing good. Hoping Ivan the terrible did not damage your property.
Agape love yourself and the brothers.
