Hi, meet Miss Hiopher Tatianna Gayle-Parchment. She is presently Grade One teacher at the Sandy Bank Primary School. Miss Gayle-Parchment was born in the community of Treasure Beach. She attended the Sandy Bank Primary School.
During her tenure her principal was the late Mr. S.J. McLean who was one of her inspirators. She taught at various institutions namely, Sheffield All Age School, Newell Secondary High,Savanna-la-mar Secondary School, Grange Hill Secondary School and presently at the Sandy Bank Primary School, where she is working for the past twelve years.
Miss Gayle-Parchment brought back to her community a resevoir of knowlege and experiences which she imparts to her colleagues and students. She is very dedicated to her job and because of her love and patience withher students, they call her "Auntie Tatty".
Miss Gayle-Parchment is the only child for her parents. She dreams of having a sister or brother but this will never become a reality.
She however has two precious children of her own. Her son Omar is twenty-four and is a mechanic. Her daughter, Tianna is a fourth form student at Hampton High.
She attends the Salvation Army Church in Great Bay where she is actively involved. After service on Sundays she would sometimes visit the sick.
Miss Gayle is a quiet, easy going person who believes that with God's help she can accomplish whatever task she sets forth to do. Her favourite dish is fish and bammy with pear. Her hobbies are reading, listening to music and going on excursions. Her advise to young people are as follows:
- Get yourself a profession or skill,
- Be dedicated to your job,
- Always be at peace with others.

By Glasceta Honeyghan on Monday, January 02, 2006 - 02:46 pm: Edit PostHi Tatty:
A big Congratulations on your being featured on TB net and on being a great teacher. Here's a quote that reminds me of you:
"If a man is called to be a street sweeper, he should sweep streets even as Michelangelo painted, or Beethoven played music, or Shakespeare wrote poetry. He should sweep streets so well that all the hosts of heaven and earth will pause to say, here lived a great street sweeper who did his job well."

By Reta Parchment Bethel on Tuesday, November 21, 2006 - 12:09 am: Edit PostHi Tatty,
This is surely a special night for me ,what a joy to see you and the pleasure to say hello is all mine, Your students I see are proud of you and so they should, I have not seen you in a long time but the last time I was home the fellowship at church was truly a blessing. Let me use this opportunity to wish you God's blessings always. I was saddened to hear of Omar's passing and know you will always find your strength in the Lord love to all at Church, Love and Prayers.
Annie.
