when is property tax due in jamaica? does anyone have an address for them or telephone numba? do you recomend sending the money to them or having a relative bring the money to them? any advise???

Property Tax

All land in Jamaica is valued for the assessment of the property tax or land tax on the unimproved value of the property. This is payable on or before April 1 and may now be paid via the internet using a credit card by visiting www.jamaicatax-online.gov.jm

what do you have to do,...??
you just register and then give them your details and the credit card number ?
Do they accept all sorts of credit card ?
and who gives you a receipt for your payments ?

Master card should be fine
when you pay you should get a verification number
keep your verification # safe, when you go back to Jamaica take your
verification number to a tax office collect your receipt
