Coquina is awesome! Pelican Reach is a cheaper alternative and right on the beach with three bedrooms! Both over in Great Bay... Jakes is always a great choice and they offer a cottage "Mussels" three bedroom that is lovely and Big, or you could rent Jack Sprat cottage my ultimate favorite, it's two bedrooms with a smaller cottage next to it Tiki Tiki for the grandparents. Enjoy

interesting to know about jakes, never realised it did a 3 bedroom.
i think its overpriced anyway as most people dont go to jamaica to just sit in a room!!
thanks for the other suggestions.i am maybe hoping to stay at sunsplash does anybody know it?
it looks lovely on the website.

Jakes is a heck of a lot more than a room...it's an experience.

There are nuff places.

I found that Pelicans Reach is not willing to make deals (we wanted all the rooms for 12 nights off season) I e-mailed them. The response was the room rate per night is the rate.

So, you may get get a better deal for the $. Though , Pelicans is in a great spot.

For that size group, a villa is probably your best bet. You will be there at high season, especially if you want Christmas, so remember most of the villas are not willing to go outside their Saturday to Saturday rental period which they usually will in off season. I think Jakes might have even more than one 3 bedroom, but be sure you can cook in it because the meal prices are what can start to add up. That's another reason a lot of people want to stay in villas; you get the best meals for the least expense.
