I am looking for transportation to explore the surrounding area during my trip to TB in April. I saw on the website a place called Huey's does anybody know the prices and if there is any other places to rent from? We will be arriving on a Sunday afternoon does anybody think I will have difficulty finding transportation from Kingston to TB (I really don't want to rent a car unless I absolutely have to). I will also be bringing my 14 year old son looking for activities to keep him from getting bored since the idea of just kicking back and relaxing is not his idea of fun. Money wise should I bring travelers checks, American cash or convert my cash to Jamacian money. Looking to possibley stay at fairhill villas, calabash house, dolphins villa or villa elegance how far are this places from the nearest grocery store? Thank you in advance for all responses

Bryan for your own safety, please don't even think of taking public transport from Kingston,not that anything will happen but i just don't trust those people especially when you are a foreigner. Why not get a regular guy from Treasure Beach to pick you up? it will be wise to bring not alot of cash but travellers cheques which you can cash once you've settled.
