We are excited to be visitng TB for the first time after many trips to Jamaica. We have rented a place and although a cook is provided we still wish to experience all types of local dining establishments. Any suggestions and what are prices in general, J$ vs US$, hours, location etc?

So many good places.

In the category of less ambiance, lower prices, and really good food I like:
-Harry's place (forget the name) in Kingfisher Plaza (where Breds' office is before the road takes a 90 degree turn and follows the coast)
-Blossoms to the north of the pink building (tell them I say hi when you go)
-Diner's Delight down towards Golden Sands
-Fisherman's off the lane to the west of Jakes.

Dinners typically include a meat/fish, rice and peas(beans)/pasta, and cabbage/carrot salad. Prices seem to run around $3-4 for a good sized meal.

You won't go hungry in TB.

May I suggest Little Ochi and Jakes - both have outstanding food.

No bad meals. I love Diners Delite. Pardy's is very good. Trans Love ("the bakery") for breakfast. Delvin's for jerk when available.

Cheffy at Sunset Resort is Great! Try callaloo omelette, filet and lobster kabob, chicken wings (sweet and hot). Presentation is a specialty with him - you won't be disappointed!

If you venture up to Flagaman try Miss Dells. The food is great and cheap.

Jack Spratt's is always a good choice.

You can also try Button Bay. Their Curry Goat is the best. The prices are great.
