i need to know the route for route taxis from ocho rios to treasure beach
if anyone has an idea of cost that would be appreciated
any ideas on how long it wuld take are welcome as well

Hi twisted sista, The easiest way to get from Ochie to TB with route taxis would be via MoBay (Ochie -> MoBay -> Savanna-La-Mar -> Black River -> TB), I can't tell you what the costs are currently. It'll definitely be much cheaper than hiring a driver, but hiring a driver will definitely be much faster and more comfortable...
Don't take the route from Ochie to TB via the mountains (Ochie -> Claremont -> Christiana -> Mandeville -> Santa Cruz -> Black River -> TB), it'll take you ages, though it might look closer.

The ride via Christiania is a much more stunning drive through the mountains, etc. It was my preferred route back in the 90s when I took public transport all around.

Now I haven't done it for 10 years, but it was quicker than the Mo Bay route at the time.

I agree with Kicki's point about hiring a driver being much quicker and more comfortable.

If you are taking public transportation, the best and easiest way is through Mo Bay. Less transfers etc. If you are going to hire a driver the fastest way (believe it or not) is through Fern Gully and the Bog Walk Gorge, take the toll highway to Mandeville and then down to T'Beach. I've done them all and timed them a hundred times.
