5.5 lb. 425 page lavishly-photographed, imaginatively-conceived tour of island, parish by parish, tradition by tradition -- Jamaica and its people and food. Rosemary Parkinson with photos additional -- tons of 'em -- by Cookie Kincaid. Great section on St.Elizabeth, including Mar Blue, Axel, Preacher and Sally, Derry and Sandy at Blue Marlin/Coquina.
Beyond coffee table book, it'll take a good 2 weeks just to peruse. Check Amazon, your bookseller or rosemary parkinson directly for where distributed. This one's a real stunner.
Thanks, S.T.!

Wrong info as to where books available .. the books are not available on Amazon or in the bookstores.
You can call Norma Shirley at Norma's Restaurant at Devon House in Kingston to buy them...
Selling like crazy..

This book is by far the best coffee table book I have ever come across. It's a beautiful testament to Jamaica, it's cross section of people and the incredible food. Follow Rosemary into the hills of Accompong and Portland, meet the Bobo Shanti Rastafarians or the Bulova heiress who makes goat cheese. Eat at the the cook shop in Stony Hill....and so much more Talk about 'off the beaten track'. It is an incredible book and there has never been anything like it done on Jamaica before. I got an email this morning that a new shipment has arrived on the island. Get them while they last...the last set sold off in 10 days. Rosemary can be contacted at rosemaryparkinson2004@yahoo.com.

Thanks for all the wonderful compliments. Naym Jamaica is now in its second printing, some changes have been made on the 1st edition just to be able to share a few more stories with you...but all in all it's the same book. We are hoping to have it available in UK, Canada and US - maybe even South Africa - closer to November. No Amazon yet but we are trying! Having self-published it takes a long time to get the right deal. Soon come...anyhow! Thanks again and bless up Miss Cookie and Miss Norma for all their love and help in making this book come true!
