So, what's the weather like where you are today? I've been running errands this morning and took my camera with me. Thought I would share our nice sunny day with all of you.

Enjoy!

Ahhh, Rebbeca,
Thanks for the pictures, wasn't able to get down this year. So, good to see what I'm missing.
Oh, cloudy, cold and 58 inches of snow here.
Send some warmth north.
Take Care

Awww Rebecca...you have no idea what you just did to my day...LOL

It's -24 celcius, not a bird or flower in sight, can't remember the last time I saw anything green outside (other than a parka or two) and the only sand is on top of the ice on the road but at least the sun is shining.

Okay, so then I went to the beach to watch the sunset.

Now that is a sunset cruise on Shallow Bar!

. . . and then I stopped by Delvin's to get my pound of jerk pork for dinner.

jerk

Sorry folks, but I just thought I would share my day with you. Now I've gotta go because the jerk is getting cold and my vodka and tonic is getting warm. Eric always told me I shouldn't type with jerk covered fingers.

See ya'll soon!!!

Thanks for the photos Rebecca. I was just thinking of the last of the Canadian friends that will be packing up today to head north. Carole and Andre will finally get to bed early. I miss the sunsets in Jamaica already and regret to say that I put the heated mattress cover on last night.

Thanks Rebecca,

We will be there tomorrow (staying at Jake's) having just weathered a major snow storm today. Can't wait. Hope to meet you this year. We seem to always miss you either on the road, at Jake's, the market, or our morning walks that go by your place. We have met many of your friends over the past 10 years but not you. You are our life line to Treasure Beach.

Long time fan. Thanks again.

Harpomarc

So really folks, what's the weather like where you are? I'd love to hear some reports.

Here are two I got in my personal emails yesterday.

North of Chicago: I had 12 inches of snow to shovel just to get out my front door. The streets have not been plowed so I can't get my truck out without getting stuck.

Carleton Place, Ontario: We came home to ice rain and the plane had to be towed in. Today we are getting 25 cm of snow.

Today, in my area of the UK, it's bright and sunny, but freezing cold. I am lucky, as we have only had a little snow. Some parts of the UK have had heavy snowfall, bad snow drifts and blocked roads etc.

I wish I was in TB right now because I am a person that HATES the cold, HATES snow and HATES winter. I am sure I was suppose to be born and to live in a warmer climate. Oh well - back to hibernating....lol

Our weather is nothing to brag about :-(

Approx. 20 cm of snow (4 inches), arrived on Friday.
At least the weather gets warmer when it snows, we are just below freezing now.

When its so cold your breath freezes, and everyting else - the sun shines and when its mild enough that you don't have to cover all your flesh for fear of frostbite then its grey and gloomy, like today.

There you go.....
You really wanted to know so I have shared my suffering with you.....

Your pictures made me feel all warm inside - thank you, I needed that. :-)

Our weather in Calgary ...what to say. We started the week off with blowing snow and with the windchill it was -49 Monday & Tuesday. Wednesday - Friday warmed to a balmy -24 and for the weekend we moving to a -10...yay for the weekend!

On the bright side...I don't run the risk of a warm V&T ;o)

Holding out for June!

The temps hovered today around freezing after we got bitter cold and high winds followed by a half of foot of snow earlier this week. # more days to Jamaica and 5 days until Treasure Beach. You ask how cold was it last week? Here's how cold it was:

Snow every day in Maine, USA this time of year. Already, this week we've received 12 inches on top of the 3 feet on the ground. It's a winter wonderland here, like looking at a postcard. No spring here for quite some time. TB sure is looking good to us.
