I'll be staying in Treasure Beach, Great Bay for a month in Jan/Feb and would like to know about fishing locally. I am not interested in Charters and high price trips. Am interested in knowing if there is surf casting? Fishing off the rocks and docks. Opportunity to go out with a local fisherman. Oh, and what kind of fish are there

Best bet is to go with local fishermen I have taken light tackle and fished from the beach with shiny lures Did not catch much A few good hits But nothing better standing on a beautiful beach there with a cooler of Red Stripe and great locals Enjoy
