Happy New Year and Blessings for the New Year.

Please Pray for this girl.

One of the things in 2008 that we would ask everyone to pray on is the reputation that some Jamaican brothers have with American women and the American Courts. Its said that they use women in American to make life easy, but its not really easy when you shame Jamaica and its people with ungodly deeds toward any human in this world.

In 2007 in Lakeland, Florida a Jamaican brother and his son was living in with this American women and her daughter. It appeared when we saw him move in that he was sick with a broken arm.

We know he didn't work. We saw him pack her car with luggage and after a few weeks he and his son returned to this American women apartment.

Well, after a few months we heard this American women start her car early in the morning, it was loud for the morning, and she would take him to work we believe. So they seem to be getting on fairly well.

We would see them talking and walking and playing outside with their children. Well, later on in the summer we saw the same Jamaican brother outside and he had called the police on this women. She was all dressed up in her Sunday clothes and sound like she said she wanted to talk. Next thing we knew, we saw the police talking to both of them.

Too cut a long story short, the Jamaican brother started driving this SUV around which my wife says she had seen another women drive up to the apartments before.

The American girl that he lived with cried outside near the lake a long time one morning and the Jamaican brother just walk off from her and left her in bitter tears. He kept staying at her apartment, too and driving this other women SUV for several weeks. My wife says this women use to come and wait for him outside the apartment sometimes.

Well, the American women put his things out one night and whole lot of police came and talk to both of them again and he was told to leave we heard. Off he went in the SUV that night. Well come to find out she had him in court, this Jamaican brother had swindle over $5000.00 US dollars from this American women and was using other women and staying in the American women apartment, too.

Brothers don't use women, its not worth the guilt you will carry for the rest of your days.
It may be easy to use women, but you will only hurt yourself when God adds up your life and you come up short.

Anyway,we saw this women move herself and crying. Two of the other neighbors helped her load the truck. We haven't seen her in the apartment complex again, but the Jamaican brother bought a new car and has his own apartment in the same complex.

It just isn't Christian what this Jamaican brother did to this American women and her daughter.

We should not use others to get ahead in America.
There are honest ways to make money and not hurt anybody. Playing on affections for money is wrong and is no more than what prositutes do.

Please pray for our brother that he will repent.

Please Pray for this girl for a healing of her soul.

Not only wasn't it Christian what he did, I'll bet Jews, atheists and Muslims wouldn't have approved either! We can only hope it all works out good in the end.

Everyone should try in some way to get some information on either party before moving in or even worst marrying to get their stay in the USA.I have heard of so many sad stories because of these kinds of relationships.
But apart from that some men regardless of their nationallity do not know the right respectable way to treat women in general.
Jamaican Brothers show the world that you are good men and make an effort to do better.I know sometimes the home up-bringing has a lot to do with the way people treat others but,at the same time I know good parents who did their utmost best for their children and the children still hang out with the wrong crowd and do awfull, disjusting acts.Fathers and brothers let us be the nation to set the example that will change the world (PLEASE) IT IS NEVER TOO LATE.

His time willcome. I hope sooner than later. Men like those give men on a whole bad name, he surely need alot of prayers.
Furthermore it is sad to say that alot of Jamiacan men behave in this dispicable manner, we as women should not accept this sort of behaviour from any man be it husband or boyfriend.

One of the baser human skills is the manipulation of people for ones benefit and their loss.

Like any form of dishonesty it is usually self limiting. Hitler and the like being extremes. The community eventually knows about the behaviour or it becomes a court matter and the behavior is curtailed.

Anyone like to discuss why the words ginnal and bandooloo are in common use.

Why are the antics of Brer 'Nancy admired?

There are issues that we consider delicate and tend not to air publicly.

Remember to give thanks that we can discuss these thing without innapropriate censorship.

Hopefully soon we can discuss our use of....
.....hmmmm, maybe not.

'We are one...........'I take it you are a Jamaican male and you are not like the hoodlum you've described, so why is it a Jamaican problem and why do you generalise? I know of many men from diverse nationalities and cultures who have behaved disgracefully likewise, some women.I know the world can seem a terrible place at times but let's keep things in proportion. Thankfully we are not all the same.Remember this when the next American woman you meet in the workplace avoids you like the plague because you are Jamaican. You are then left feeling puzzled.I think I've made my point.

I feel so bad for the American woman. No one diserves to go through such pain. Our loving and kind God will give her comfort, and I hope she knows that. I believe in 'WHAT GOES AROUND, COMES BACK AROUND' (KARMA), and 'HE WHO LAUGHS LAST, LAUGHS THE BEST'. We can never see these things coming. I wish more people would think before they do some things. One of my major concerns is the daughter.Kids pick up on things and it can affect them for a long time. Sometimes, these are the things that plant certain hatred and revenge in kids as they grow up. Yet we wonder whats happening to our next generation.

Please, let us start thinking wider than just our selfish needs, before we act.

While I do not want to imply any blame to the American woman in this situation, I just want to say to women, please, where possible, let us try and not allow ourselves to be used. Though not always, there are signs sometimes which we choose to ignore hoping they will go away, and then it gets too late.

Lets us pray for the people in this situation and for all men and women of present generation and the next.

God bless us all.

Michelle in London.

The problem is that so many people really want to see the good in others and they look past many warning signs. Men are Men and Woman are Women no matter where they are in this world. And you'll always have people out there looking for that one person with low self esteem and they take adventage of that. As human beings we all want to feel loved and wanted. The sad thing at the end of being used the person still feels low about themselves. I just wish that people would stop trying to find a EASY way of getting by in life and work hard on their own. I hate to burst anyones bubble but there is no Prince or Princess Charming that will swoop you off your feet and give you a life of luxury. You need to help yourself and think of other feelings!
