Growing-up in the sixties and seventies i remember the Christmas cake ,bammy bread , red and white candy cane also the Christmas bun from Great Bay they taste so good ,i am just wondering if anyone has the recipe and the skill to bake like that anymore .
It was also the days of wood fire and you
would have to go look special wood to cook Christmas
dinner .

Aaah!! I remember well those cakes and buns from auntie Marta and auntie Mardie, washed down by some wicked home made ginger beer. The youths of today are missing so much.
