The Annual Christmas Tree Lighting at Newell square will take place on Sunday December 23.Everyone is invited to come along and join in this little get together with the children specially in mind. Please feel free to bring a gift for a child

I spoke with Oral Ebanks and he has already purchased thousands and thousands of lights and will start stringing them on the tree this week.

Big up to Oral for each year diligently overseeing this massive project so we all can enjoy a fabulous community Christmas Eve party under this beautifully illuminated tree!

Rebecca, Thank you so much for responding, I'm really looking forward to attending, I have always heard about this wonderful event and seen the pictures but was never there to attend but this year I will there and counting down the days.

They have been pruning and adding sticks for branches since yesterday evening. I'm sure it will, as always, look great for Christmas Eve!
