I am new to this site, and have found the postings here very informative and positive. I have been hearing and viewing wonderful things about the Treasure Beach area and St.Elizabeth on a whole. I am considering returning to Jamaica after living overseas for the past two decades. In a climate where you are constantly hearing about the increased violence and crime in Jamaica, you want to feel some reaasurance that you can come home to a realitively safe environment where people still care about their community and neighbours. I am currently seeking a small rental property for long term occupancy of about 6-12 months in the roundhill area. The site is a wonderful source of information and it is very uplifting to know that there are many Jamaicans and others that still have a sense of community in this ever changing world of individualism. I would like to know what size property you have interest in. For example If you would prefer to be on your own in the property or just have your own section of the house (studio).
