With one week left until delivery to Jamaica, if anyone in the US has a spare laptop they want to donate, contact us today!

We have a past volunteer in Montreal, Canada who has some systems to donate. If anyone in Canada is coming to Treasure Beach in the near future and would be able to assist in the transport of the computers, please contact us to coordinate this effort.

Maddie Ferguson, a past volunteer with VIJON has returned and will be giving 8 months of service, primarily working with the students at Pedro Plains Primary teaching basic computing skills.

We just received word from Jennifer Beattie that she has raised 200 Pounds for the purchase of additional computing equipment!

Jennifer and her husband Kevin arrive as volunteers this Thursday. They will be staying at Viking's House for 6 weeks. We encourage you to welcome them into the community.

Jennifer's fundraising efforts resulted in a check to cover the cost of the Sandy Bank Basic School roof repairs as well as a generous contribution to the Treasure Beach Foundation Scholarship Fund. She also collected hundreds of pounds of supplies which are in transit to the island to be distributed to our local students and schools.

VIJON wants to thank everyone for coming together to help make our community stronger.

A group of us are coming from Alberta to Treasure Beach in April and we would love to bring some supplies etc to help out. I was just yesterday thinking "what am I going to do with all this old computer stuff". What kinds of equipment are you looking for ... just laptops? If you could outline the schools supplies needed, I can see what we can bring with us.
