The number of the winning ticket is 280.

I have not been able to reach the winner by telephone or by e-mail. Until I reach the winner, all I am willing to say is the winner is a male who lives in the United States.

To all those who entered and did not win, I thank you from the bottom of my heart for supporting Treasure Beach Foundation's Scholarship Fund. The ultimate winners are the wonderful students who will be attending high school this year on a scholarship made possible by each and every person who cared enough to buy a raffle ticket.

Steve and Phyllis Lerman, longtime visitors to Treasure Beach, are the winners of the Villa Raffle—a one-week stay at Rainbow Point, plus round-trip airport transport, a Black River boat trip, and massages.

Steve just called me and said he and Phyllis were absolutely thrilled to learn they’d won.

Oh congratulations Steve and Phyllis!!!! I can't think of two more deserving persons after all you both do for so many.

Enjoy the villa, and I hope to see you for cocktails!

I have never won a raffle before! Phyllis and I were very excited to get the news. What could be better than buying a raffle ticket to support the Treasure Beach Foundation's Scholarship Fund - a good and important cause - and then being rewarded with the winning prize.

Along with all of Treasure Beach we look forward to learning which hard-working Sandy Bank students win the scholarships this coming year.

Special thanks to those who donated the raffle prize and everyone who bought tickets to show their support for the young people of Jamaica.

You sound like a really good person Doctor Steve. Enjoy your vacation at Rainbow Point. If you need anyone else to fill the place up, I think a lot of us would be interested. Seriously, this is such a good cause. I am also impressed people in Treasure Beach contributed to what you and your wife will enjoy. When you go, it would be nice if you posted pictures to we could see what the rest of us didn't win.
