For those reroofing/repainting, there's a new
NASA spin-off product, a ceramic paint additive,
that's a cheap way to keep houses insulated both against heat and cold. Works with either latex/acrylic or oil based paints, even ceiling paint, on wood/tin/concrete/stucco, any surface. inside and out. Non-toxic, environmentally=friendly, colorless and easy to apply. See THERMOCAL
ceramic paint additive, available out of West Melbourne Florida (got a friend who can bring
in it for you?) at http://www.hytechsales.com
(Self-editing note: We have no financial/commercial connection with this company
other than the fact that we and friends on island
and in States have used it, successfully. to
save money on JPS electric/air-conditioning bills and heating bills in the North).
This is good news I live in Canada where heating bill sare extremly high- took a glance the prices looks OK.
Thank you tivertonhouse, I'll certainly give this a try.
