Some people have asked why Treasure Beach Foundation has a list of rules about how we will distribute the funds we are raising for the Hurricane Dean Relief Fund. As a U.S. non-profit foundation, we are bound by IRS regulations. That means, for instance, that you cannot contribute to TBF, get a tax deduction, and have us funnel your donation to a specific person. (I am not willing to break any of the rules to which the law says we must adhere.)

We understand some people may wish to assist with the rebuilding efforts for the little church in Billy's Bay. (It sustained exceedingly severe damage.) If so, please e-mail me directly, and I can advise you how to do so.
