We are finally mailing out our first batch today and will be totally caught up by Monday. We apologize for the delay, but it seemed more important to concentrate on fund raising efforts for the Hurricane Dean damage. (Little did we know our timing for the raffle would be so inappropriate.)

Please bear with us on the tickets. Also, even if you do not have your ticket in hand when we do the drawing, we have the stubs with everyone's names on them. And, the winning ticket will be drawn from the stubs we have. So, your chances of winning the raffle will be just as good.

If you draw my winning ticket and you cannot get in touch with me, what happens? I feel very lucky but I will still be on holiday next week.

We will draw the ticket the evening of September 4. We will do our best to get in touch with the winner as quickly as possible and get their permission to post their name on TB.net. If you do not see someone's name posted here by September 5, and you bought a raffle ticket, and you know you could not be reached, then you might want to send me an e-mail. But, to keep my e-mail from overflowing, I ask you to please check TreasureBeach.net first. (Also, check your e-mail to see if we sent you one.)

May I suggest that if the tickets have numbers, that you post the winning # on Treasurebeach.net so you aren't bombarded with emails and all participants may check their tickets.

Thank you, hooked on TB. Smart idea!! That's exactly what I'll do. We dropped another batch of tickets in the mail today, and we'll be mailing them as late as Saturday, September 1 (for any that are purchased up through Friday, August 31). However, most everyone will have their tickets by September 4.

I got my raffle tickets today. Congrats Karen and the TB Foundation team on the great picture and very well done thank you cards in the envelope.

I also received mine yesterday. How beautiful to see the smiling faces of the current scholarship winners; I will be putting that photo on my refrigerator so I can see those bright young ladies every day. May each and every one of them be an inspiration to all those who will be competing for next year's scholarships.

Thank you all. The photo we are enclosing with the raffle tickets is one that Rebecca took of the six young ladies who were awarded Treasure Beach Foundation scholarships for the coming school year. Our Board though those who were supporting these fine scholars should have a a photograph of them; it seems to have been a wise decision.
