In the Eat and Play section of this website, you can read about my CD, Caribbean Cantata, a compilation of photos taken during our first four visits (2001-2004) to Jamaica. Among them are photos taken in Treasure Beach in 2002. You can link to my website (janewingate.com) to see a sample slide show of a few of the photos on the CD.

As a professional photographer for 25 years, I have found no more beautiful subject than the landscape and the people of Treasure Beach. I keep returning to the area.

Because I don’t know yet if there will be a second Caribbean Cantata, over the course of the next weeks, I will post, from time to time, a few of the new photos taken in Treasure Beach in the past two years. For a start, I am posting ten photos to the TB.net photo gallery.

In the spirit of Treasure Beach Foundation's new raffle for a week at Rainbow Point to raise money for the scholarships for Treasure Beach's children, I will donate $10 from the sale of each copy of Caribbean Cantata to Treasure Beach Foundation. This offer is good through the end of September 2007. So I can keep track of how much to donate to the Foundation, please tell me you saw the ad for Caribbean Cantata on TB.net when you place your order.

Jane, I have never met you, but I have always admired your exquisite photos. (Yes, I own a copy of Caribbean Cantata, and I've seen your work elsewhere.) You also have a lovely heart for offering to do this for the children of Treasure Beach.

Thanks for all your kind comments (in this thread, and in the thread "Pics posted from Jane") about my photos of Treasure Beach. Here are ten more.

I hope that if you also like these new photos, you might be moved to buy a copy of Caribbean Cantata, my CD of 2640 photos of Jamaica - enough photos to sustain any lover of Jamaica waiting for the next return to Paradise.

Again, as I mentioned in my first post in this thread, for any CD sold between now and the end of September, I will give half the proceeds to Treasure Beach Foundation's current fundraising effort.

I should have said, as I did in my original post in this thread, that I will give $10 for every CD sold. The CD costs $24.95, but that includes $5 shipping and handling.
