To Patty and Joe, I've sent you an email, but not sure if it is an updated address. Please let us know how you and yours are doing during Hurricane Flossie.

For those of you who may not know, Patty and Joe were in Treasure Beach for two years working with Peace Corp. If it wasn't for the two of them, we would not have received the grant to match the Hurricane Ivan relief funds donated to Treasure Beach by the United Way which allowed so many persons to be helped and the Treasure Beach Women's Group to be rebuilt. Patty and Joe worked tirelessly on the Ivan relief committee and all of us living in Treasure Beach owe them a great debt of gratitude.

Now we all should give out thoughts and prayers to them and those they love who are currently being affected by Hurricane Flossie in Hawaii.

Please keep in touch Patty and Joe.

Hope you two and your fellow Hawaiians stay safe and dry.

Did the earthquake affect you?

Respect,
-Eric

I've never met Patty and Joe, but any friend of TB is a friend of mine. Jah guide and protect you during the storm and always.

Aloha to our friends in Treasure Beach,

Thank you for your good wishes. Hurricane Flossie doesn't hit our Islands until tomorrow.

We are in touch with one of our sons and our grand daughter on our "Big Island" and they are well and prepared (that is where Flossie will hit first).

The recent earthquakes haven't caused any major damage and so far, only one of our volcanoes is erupting :-)

Patti thinks we should prepare for the hurricane by buying some kites!!!! Those of you who know Patti, aren't surprised.

Again, mahalo (thank you) for your thoughts and prayers.
love,
Joe and Patti

Yep, I saw Dean creeping over on the satellite map this morning. Let's keep our fingers crossed that we will be able to do as Patti and fly a kite! In other words let's hope Dean leaves us alone.

But I agree Tweety-bird, we should start preparing just in case and keep a close eye on Dean's movements.
