True Canada1, Bob Marley has left us with great words to live by. He sang to the world, not only us. But he also said "If the cap fits, wear it". However, let's concetrate/reflect on how God has been good to us as a nation as we celebrate this day.

Emancipate yourself from mental slavery. None but ourselves can free our minds.

Like Martin Luta King once said we shall over come someday.

We have overcome. The 'old pirates' have gone. We run our own country.

Let's pray for the freedom from drugs, unemployment and violence.

I wish I could agree with you History but I can't. The new highways are being built by the Spanish and Dutch, the new hotels are owned by the Spanish, both international airports are leased out to Canada and we have an Englishman running our police force and the phone companies are run by the Irish. They seem to be able to do these things better than we can and thank God for them.
