first i am nominating Gosten Moxam and Clarenton Moxam, these two men are known for their comical personalities, just talking to them in any general conversation makes you laugh till you cry...or just laugh hard which ever you prefer..

I suggest Morett from Bluntas, I think she is really a character. The way she pronounced her words and her action on expressing what she is saying. She is truly hilarious!!!

I think Cliff Clark is quite funny(Hadan)and dont forget Mass Trevor Clark.

My vote is for Silvan James! I just love our Saturday afternoons hanging at Delvins nyaming on jerk pork and laughing all afternoon to Silvan's stories.

I think it's a race between Sylvan James and Garth Clarke; following closely behind is George Hill. They are blessed with good humour.

My vote is for Morett from Bluntas, she will surely make you laugh any time you see her.She is just talking and you have to laugh.

i will say GARTH CLARKE is one of the funniest person i know.

I think the heat is on for this one. Treasure Beach people on a whole are just a bunch of comedians who just love to give jokes and have a good time laughing. How about Garth Clarke? Not only do you cry laughing but look out the pee might happen too.

I think Dougie, from Dougies Bar is quite funny. His laughter awakens the whole resort area first thing in the morning.

In relation to the Gal Dem Suqa suggestion, I think that would be an ideal thing to do. As often time a lot of individuals around Treasure Beach and surrounding areas have great talent that is not recognised.

A little discussion as this can identify skills that are hidden and also encourages individuals to acknowledge raw talents

one of garth clake best jokes is, miss nicey sold him two pears, and the next week she is checking on her new customer she ask garth how did you like the pears, garth replied, yes miss nicey me drink one and mitty drink the other one. ah sof dem sof sooo

I'd have to say Garth Clarke is one of the funniest persons in Treasure Beach. Silvan is a great teller of jokes but Garth has a great way of making his jokes and stories come alive, even if they are no way near the truth.

Garth told me that when he was a kid, a lady visited Frenchman and asked him to catch ten live land crabs for her and she would pay him. Unfortunately he was only able to catch eight, but really wanted the money to buy soda and bun. So he gave her the bag with the eight crabs. She asked him, how could she be sure that ten crabs were in the bag? He suggested counting them. She tried but could not as the crabs kept climbing over each other in the bag. He was very happy that she was not able to count them in the bag as there were only eight. He then went on to tell her that she could let the crabs out the bag and count them on the ground but she was afraid to, as the crabs would run away. So she ended up paying Garth for the ten crabs. He said that when he got the money walked to the closest corner out of the ladies sight and then made a bolt for it. He ran to the shop so fast, he can’t remember if his feet ever did touch the ground.

This is one of his “When I was a Boy” story. All the gesticulation and facial expressions are missing but if it sounded funny to you and this is just me typing it, then imagine if Garth Clarke was telling you in person.

I would say Garth is very funny. I think he deserve to win.

As soon as I see Garth I begin to laugh. He doesn't have to open his mouth. One of his many jokes told to me had to do with the hurricane that devastated new Orleans. His line was "Yu did see Fats D. eena di boat? A Pedro Cays him reach you know".

I have never heard of Morett before; but I certainly have had the pleasure of meeting Garth..what a character, I think he must be the funniest person around. Sometimes when you are all alone and remembers his jokes, it is impossible to help laughing to yourself. Garth Clarke is the bomb.

It seems like a close call between Morett and Garth.

You just have to meet Morett from Bluntas. When i go on vacation, i have to see her and if i don't see her i just send and call her. That is one way to a very good time out there. when she tell you something you have to laugh and she don't stop there either, she will convince you too, especially when we use to catch water from outer the road pipe. you don't want to catch water, but as you hear Morett is out there talking you want to go all at a sudden.

GARTH is quite an individual i have been to his place of buisness and he is quite accomodating he had a beautiful herd of goat next to his bar and one particular one would come up to him for a bottle of heiniken and i do have pictures of that goat drinking the beer and seem to want more i also heard that goat was killed accidentally ,my support will be for him without a doubt .Good family man.

Oh Robin, could you either post the picture on TB.Net or send it to me at treasuretours@cwjamaica.com and I will post it. I heard so much about this goat from so many persons in TB, but never got to see him in action. I would love to see the picture!

Too many jokes to mention, Garth Clarke will keep you laughing all day and night. He is the funniest man I have ever met. He should win by a mile.

Well I think Garth Clarke is the funniest in TBeach and the rest of the world because i take his jokes and tell them so many people even in Africa knows who he is.

Somebody once handed me a ten dollar bill with two staples in it. I asked Garth Clarke what I was to do with this. He told me it was good and from now on, never accept a ten dollar bill without two staples in it! I laughed all night about that. He is incredibly funny.

I will have to put my vote to Garth Clarke. Everytime I come down I have to make a special visit to Garth to get two jokes. I think you should just give him the crown.

Well I must say Jarvin Myrie is the funniest person in Treasure Beach. He makes everyone laugh, If you are looking for a good laugh, you need to be around Jarvin for a day.

FR. Robin to any one with the know how to transfer the old style pictures into a digital format so i can send to TB. for posting i have pictures of the now famous goat having his fill of refreshment at the side of Garth.

I think the only way to do it is to run the picture through a scanner which will concert it to a digital image. If you don't have one, you could send it to Eric and have him do it.

My cousin Garth Clarke is an extraordinary character. No matter how sad u may be feeling, when Garth is around u must laugh. I recall one occasion in Long Island NY in 1993 when he gave so many jokes that an English lady who was present laughed so much that she fell off her seat, rolled on the ground and peed herself. Garth is a master at fabricating stories and making them comical.His expression,body language and the tone of his voice all add up to making him a super comedian.

My uncle Ken (Dog) and also Morett are definitely two of the funniest in jamaica that I can remember. My cousin Nordia was always telling me jokes about Garth James he did sound pretty hilarious, I would have loved to have met him.

To one man stoping cring wolves i am sure there are many more paper where the rest came from.

To all you TB jokers out there i do'nt find a goat drinking beer funny, that is animals cruelty. I think the animal right people should investigate this matter as soon as possible.

True many more papers are there, and tissues are also available when you are around Garth to wipe the tears from laughing too much.

well i have an idea that would serve a very good purpose, i think there should be a comedy club in treasure beach to showcase our finest talents.
where comedy loving people can go on the weekends to enjoy themselves of local comedy acts and laugh and laugh laugh laugh till you can't take any more.......but there should be rules and a M.O.U that there will be no cursing and swearing so that all can attend with a clean conscience, maybe also there can be prizes, and there can be true excitement and anticipation of local comics..........soo who is up for the challenge to get this idea off the ground come forward. maybe it can become real big
