Hi Jammin-
I stayed there last November.
It was nice - the rooms are large - at least the downstairs rooms are. We made a mistake and should have asked for an upstairs room where you have a view of the sea.
The people who run it (Denise and ....I just can't think of his name) are SO SO loevly. They will help you with anything you need. They are very sweet people.
Back to the rooms - ours had air conditioning (I THINK they all do) and a decent size bathroom. the shower is huge. I THINK they had hot water, but I don't remember needing it.
They let you go up and sit on the room if you want to.
you share the kitchen which is small, and hot - but it doesn't matter b/c you'll be in TB
The best place on earth...

Hi patty. Thanks for your comments of the Inn At Great Bay. This is Rohan Moxam the owner. Yes, all the rooms have air conditioning. We are upgrading as we speak. We just finished screening in all the patios upstairs (so you won't have to worry about mosquitos), We are also adding a huge front veranda downstairs. The kitchen will be expanding shortly and air conditioned. Also, we are adding ceiling fans and televisions to all rooms. The top floor is furnish for your comfort and dining pleasure.(When we are though, it will be the most relaxing place.) Again thanks for your comments. If you have any questions my number is ph#239-564-8976 or email rmoxam@comcast.net

p.s.
High speed internet access is also available. Thanks again.

Well, ive been there twice in six months and all i can tell you that its a wonderful place to stay. First time was in november and the second time we went back to the Calabash Festival where we had good times enjoying reggae music ,their food and the great hospitality of their people. And of course we stayed for the second time at the inn at great bay, wich is a lovely place the rooms upstairs are the best cause youll have a great view to the ocean thats where my room was located, its just awesome. Another cool place to hang out at night and just chill its on the deck of the building you can enjoy on one side the ocean and on the other side the great mountains its just beautiful im telling you its so romantic. And during the day you can just take a step and youll be on the beach enjoying the sun, the the cabana bars their music and the company of the cool cabana boys. Something that really call my atention was the nature trail walk around the place where it takes you to the most gorgeous private beach. Oh yeah we did have a blast, i know for sure thats the place i wanna go back soon! Another thing you dont have to worry about its your breakfast, lunch and dinner cause Denise and the other staff will take care of you there great cooks! Its just so relaxing to be there, that your spoiled yourself! See you soom JAM!!!!!!

I hope I'm not incorrect but I think the reference ,"Cabana Boys" means guys who spend their time on the beach daily. If I'm incorrect, I apologize.
