Can you please publicly post this information as we would also like to contribute!
We have had several loooooooooong holidays in TB and plan to move there in the next two years as we are currently researching land for sale and lots of people are helping us in the area.so we would love to give something back to the community in return for such kindness and generosity.
We were thinking of school books, english, maths geography, history etc?Perhaps school uniforms?
My Mother is a primary school teacher and we know other teachers from other schools too who would like to help out.
We would ship the things to you from the uk
Kind Regards

Have you bothered to check the Community Groups section on this site? It has all kinds of good info in there about Sandy Bank Primary and other local organizations.

This is very kind of both these posters (and a little harsh on Eric's part). I find that the Sandy Bank school gets masses of donations and some of the other schools a little further afar don't get as much. Perhaps someone could suggest some of the schools in Newell, Mountainside or Flagaman that may also benefit. There are a number of students from Treasure Beach that attend these schools. Again, to Lisa and Tanya, thanks for your kind consideration.

To all interested, we have compiled a comprehensive list of needs which were noted from teacher and principal surveys from Sandy Bank Primary, Pedro Plains Primary, Gods and Salvation Army Schools.

Check the following link and scroll to the schools area for the needs...

Thank you Tanya. I am very happy to know that the Sandy Bank basic school is being thought of. They are in dire need of many necessities and i know these generous contributions will be highly appreciated. They will be having a fund raising event at the school this Thursday,June 28, 2007 at 4: 30 p.m. The proceeds of this function will be in aid of the improvement of the physical plant which will include proper fencing and gate. They are also desirous of erecting slides and swings and they also wish to decorate the school building.
