I lived in Calabash Bay from 1983-1986 as a Peace Corps Volunteer. I worked with the fisherman's cooperatives in Calabash Bay and in Treasure Beach.
My family and I have reservations at Jakes in Treasure Beach from July 5th through July 8th.
During my time in Calabash Bay, I took a number of photographs in the form slides of people and places in the community. I have about 200 slides. They include photos of people like Wilton and Lancel Graham, Mike "Astley" Reynolds, Old Joe, Mr Spence, Swif Parchment, John Taylor and Hugh Clarke.
I would like put on a slide show and invite the community to re-visit old times. Is there a location at Jake's or in the local community that has the facilities to do this? I will bring my slide projector and will only need an electrical outlet and a white wall on which to project the slides.

Oh, what a great idea!!! How about the Women's Group as a location. They've got outlets and big white walls. You can call them when you reach here at 965-3637 or you can email them at tbwgjamaica@yahoo.com
