Newyorker probably must be feeling a bit down especially with the Yankees down 13 1/2 games.

I am just trying to invest in the community, just wanted to know if it is a good location. "Not in a bad way".

Newyorker be advised that TB is not a community that differentiates prestigious from non-prestigious. It's, as this site states, hamlets of fishing and agricultural villages separated by reefs. It's an area rooted by several families that are related by blood or marriage. It's a peaceful tranquil area that lacks the pretense of snoberry(forgive the incorrect spelling). These are just a few of the things that make TB a great part of Jamaica.

Who can give me an idea of the price for land in TB?

I know of someone wanting to sell but how do they go about doing so without over/under pricing their property.

Their land is about fifteen minutes walk fom the ocean but, have one of the nicest view in TB.
The ocean in front for miles to see and the Santa Cruz mountain for miles to see.

Beautiful, beautiful view day or night and the sea breeze is so breath taking.

Anyone with good knowledge in this field can post it here and I would be more than thankfull for that information.

Newyorker, have you ever been to TB? I would recommend spending some time in the area before you think about buying 'a piece of Treasure Beach.' Then you'd be familiar with the different areas and know what part of the community you'd like to buy into.

I agree with land owner, short of paying for an appraisal most of us do not know how to find out the fair value of our land.

The value of real estate is easy to estimate in most places I have been.

Any guide to pricing based on location etc would be welcome.

Thanks, turey.

Chi-Chi the size is two acres but, if you read again you would see I do not know what the price of land is going for in TB.

Where this land is, is even nicer than some of the land selling right on the beach.

Some land on the beach do not have any view what-so-ever and you have to put up with too much people traffic and sandflies.

You can always take a leisure walk down to the beach and stop and talk to the villagers or drive if you have your own transportation.
If I had a choice this would be it.(On the Hill with the view all around me).

how much is the price for the two acres?

Hill view is nice, and so is beach front that is just your opionon. If you don't get sandflies on the hill you get mosquitoes. The reason why people are going to hills is because there is no more beach front land. Both views are beautiful but my choice would be beach front.

Mosquitoes and sandflies are everywhere but sandflies are only on the beach.Give me the higher ground anytime.Like the bible say "THE FOLISH MAN BUILD IS HOUSE UPON THE SAND"
THE WISE MAN BUILD HIS HOUSE UPON THE ROCK.

Rock--Sand give me ROCK.

I love beach or mountain view but the only problem is this...There is no more land for sale.
If there is, post it here so I can give an offer.
A slice of the pie is better than none at all.
