Hi - I'm new to this forum. I've never been to Treasure Beach but have been travelling to JA for about 10 years. I'll be in Negril next month and I'm curious how long is the drive from Negril to TB? Is there a preferred route?

Thanks

You know what they say, once you try Treasure Beach you wont go back to Negril!

You won't be disappointed...Negril is about 2 hours by car.

Plan to stay in TB for a few days N5. You'll like the comparison I think!

Negril used to be (almost) like Treasure Beach circa 1974. Only route is through Sav and along South Coast. Take your time. Cool places to stop along South Coast-Good People. Jerry

Thanks everyone! Been coming to Negril from TX every year for past 11 years. Met my fiance (from FL) there 3 years ago. Got engaged in Negril last year and she moved to TX. We're getting married in Negril this year and I'm thinking of suprising her with TB for the 'honeymoon' for a night or two. What do you think?
We'll be there in early June - okay to head down without reservations this time of year? Any recommendations on where to stay?

TB will be a wonderful location for a honeymoon. It's bucolic ,sirene and naturally beautiful with warm friendly people. I will stress that it's very safe. I agree that once you visit TB you will continue to return for years to come. You'll forget about Negril, although Negril is nice in a different kind of way. If you post your email address I will be happy to forward info for an affordable house directly on the beach that has a great host. I've visited TB four times in the last year and am very familiar with the area.
