Last fall I entered the raffle sponsored by the Treasure Beach Foundation and won a week at Rainbow Tree Villa! I made it a family trip taking my 80 year old mother, her older and younger sisters and their daughters, my husband rounded out the party of eight. We just returned and had an absolutely fabulous time. The Treasure Beach area is so beautiful and peaceful. Many in my family said it was the most relaxing vacation they have ever had, in part due to having three meals a day prepared and served to us! I think we all gained at least five pounds while were there. We had several adventurous execursions to YS Falls and to the Black River with a memorable lunch at the Pelican Bar (you have to experience this). My mom and her sisters didn't miss any of it and I highly recommend our tour guide Aman Parchment - he was knowledgeable, all around terrific guy and took great care of all in our party. Be sure to watch for the 2007 Treasure Beach Foundation raffle and enter for the chance to win a trip of your own. We will be entering again!!

Sounds great. For some reason I never thought of bringing my elderly parents to Treasure Beach, even though their health is good and we get along fine. So when is the next raffle?

I so much wanted to win that raffle!! Happy someone won it who really ended up liking Treasure Beach, not that it's hard to fall in love with the place. Know my money went for a good purpose anyway, but I REALLY wanted to win. Have seen Rainbow Tree only from the beach and the sea, and it looks beautiful.

So glad to hear you had a great time Lisa. But as you said, it would be hard not to when you are staying at Rainbow Tree!

As for bringing elderly parents to Treasure Beach. . . we celebrated my father's 80th here last year and his favorite part of the vacation was going to Pelican bar on Peck's boat and deep sea fishing with Bebe. I talked to my parents two nights ago and we are starting to plan their next visit (the 11th visit) down here.
