Give us an example of what you're talking about

I saw it too. There seems to be question marks all through out the text in the articles.

I still haven't seen an example, but I wonder if the single and double quote marks are being replaced by question marks.

In other words, instead of The boy's shirt is green you see The boy?s shirt is green

If this is the case, then its a matter of the browser & web page not speaking the same language.

It could also be a case where images are not being displayed properly. Instead of the actual picture, a question mark is shown.

Eric it's like you stated. Also it appears at the begining and end of some sentences. It might be as you explained about the browser & webpage not speaking the same language.I don't know.

If I remember, I'll check it out with the people responsible for the web content at the paper tomorrow and report on their response.

Apostrophes, words italicized or in quotes and other written language conventions are sometimes
not recognized by 'robotic' conversions into
Web page text. It's all in the program and
the ability/English language knowledge of the programmer -- often miles apart these days, even with "spellcheck". Thus, the question marks
sometimes seen in The Gleaner online editions
which often have abnormalities since they're done
fast, late at night and rarely proofread, even with spellcheck.

I don't see any question marks on that page, but I'll tell ya Eric, a few years back I could generate the same affect by writing something in MSWord and copy/pasting it in here. I would then have to go through the post and erase and redo every punctuation except for periods and commas. :-)

Is A. Todd, Angella Todd? If so, please say. I will post my e-mail address for you to e-mail me.

Thank you.

For the one question...no, I'm not Angella Todd. As for the other question, I'm using Windows XP and the upgrade Explorer.
