We saw her last year as well. She was suffering from heartworm. Unfortunately she only survived until October. She was also our favorite. She used to sneak through our room window and sleep next to us and escort us on our morning walks as well. We miss her as well. Sorry for the sad news.

This is so sad except that Humpfree (I assumed it was Humphrey) had a long life and produced many (??Jason should know #) puppies. She must have been at least 10 years old. I'll miss her, too. What a great old soul.

Another great dog we have met while in Treasure Beach is Flora, she goes on the boat with fisherman Ted. She is a very smart dog. We love her to bits!!!! I hope she is doing fine

So sorry to hear about Humpfree's passing. On my two trips to Jakes she was always sweet and happy to help with leftovers. I've got a picture of her laying on the floor of our room at Cockles Up. She will be missed by MANY. I lost my dog Lyla - a Rhodesian Ridgeback - at the end of September. Humpfree reminded me of a miniture version of her. Now I'm twice as sad. Both are in Heaven now and perhaps they've met...

I have fond memories of a dog who had a bump that turned into lump that turned into a hump. Therefore the name. We laid under the stars a couple of time on my pad outside abalone up.
