Can anyone say if the Newell school reunion is still going to take place ? If any one has any information about it please post it. I would really love to go.

Yes there is definitely going to be a Newell School reunion, but we are now in the process of setting up a committee and as we progress information will be posted and in the near future you will have a contact person/s so we want all past students of Geneva Primary to keep watching this site for developing info.
I can't wait to see all those faces again and to talk of the good old days when as children we grew up in such a safe enviroment!!

Clarifying Newell School as oppose to Geneva Primary School.Geneva Primary School is different from Newell so the Geneva School reunion is in October so we don't want people to be confused with Newell which is the Secondary.
Remember Geneva Primary reunion is in October 2007

There seems to be a little confusion around the names of the schools, and what is happening when.
Geneva Primary existed long before Newell Junior Secondary School came into being. Physical location of the two schools , just a stone throw across the road from each other, however, not all Geneva past students went to Newell JS.
From what I can glean from these pages, it seems that Newell JS is planning their reunion for July/07 while the Geneva Primary group is planning theirs for Oct./07......Hope this will be of benefit to someone.

Newell Secondary was a blessing to me. I look back with pride of the days I went there.I will make every effort to be at the reunion.Hope we will have a good time.
