Thanks for the compliment and concerns. I'll continue to work with and assist children as long as I live, but under different circumstances.

Hi Glass.
I respect your decision, but would like to know some more. You and the team were doing a tremendous job for the children. I know that Raphael(your brother) is no longer in Boston.
Where is the organization going from here?

My e-mail is crtaudit@yahoo.com

One love
Merv

I've looked up CHILD here in the U.S. and could never find it listed as a bonafide tax-exempt organization. Treasure Beach Foundation is listed, however.

Just a thought ...

What's your point, Kristina?

Maybe they weren't following IRS regulations like giving people donation receipts. (I thought it was just required for $$ donations, but now I just read that the U of Virginia students will be sending receipts even for used clothing.) This wasn't meant to say anything bad about Glasceta who is obviously a dedicated, caring, giving and decent woman. I was only guessing about the organization she says she's no longer affiliated with. I'm sorry for ever bringing this up because I really don't know IRS laws and I wasn't trying to say anything bad about Glasceta. I guess I just had some extra time on my hands and was wondering why she might have left them. Thats all.

Kristina i just read and re-read your posts and you werent in any way saying anything bad about Glasceta...you were speculating on an organisation..you have as much right to post a reply as anyone else - and there has been some posts asking the same question.

Maybe ??? should try and phrase their post a little nicer?

Hi everyone:

Yes, CHILD organization was registered, was following IRS regulations and guidelines. I (and many other dedicated individuals) live by certain principles (especially those that involve children) and would never become involved in any activities that fell short of adhering to state laws and regulations.

I founded the organization and worked endless hours to assist children and families. Sadly, there developed a conflict of interest within the organization, and I chose to dissasociate myself.

I will continue to work with children, but under a different set of circumstances. I look forward to your continued support.

I will take the opportunity here to thank all individuals who believed in me and supported my endeavors over the years. You can rest assured that you helped to make a difference in the lives of many children and their families. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you.

At this point, I'm grateful for every comment and concern (which have always helped me to grow), and if you have further questions you may e-mail me at ghoneygh@fmuiv.edu
