I always get a huge chuckle out of peoples cold weather stories. I live in Canada and we get frigid temps for 5 months of the year every year. Last week on Jan 12th it was -25F and with the windchill factored in it was -48F. If it was to sizzle up to 32F we would be having a bbq on our decks and driving our cars with windows down. We have warmed up to 10F today and people were riding their bikes to work. I guess its all relative, but it makes me crack up when people say "help its freezing here"

Just incase you think we live in igloo's year round, we do have summer where the mercury soars up to 104F regularly between June and September. We are one diverse hearty country on many levels, trust me.

Canada isn't actually that cold. It is due to unexperienced people who have never had a chance to see or feel winter that Canada has become known for nothing but cold weather. In the summer, it sometimes feels hotter than Jamaica up here.

Canada is a ice box !!!!! I live in NY and there is no comparison.

Canada is cold----------New York is cold

Jamaica is hot-hot-hot.
