Hey, Rebecca (or anyone else!): How about another sunset picture.

Its literally been 30F degrees for the past 3 days with a near constant drizzle of ice/rain/snow. Here's what Austin Texas looks like right now:

(giggling)Looks like El Niņo is messin' with you... but what cracks me up the most is that Texas is supposed to be a warm place, (in theory I suppose) so why do people have sleds????? hehehe

It's a might chilly in New Hampsha as well. (But it's supposed to be!) =)

Oh its definitely Texas. Take a closer look at the kid's sled in the picture above. Its the top of a plastic storage bin. The lady in the far left is using a blue recycle bin as her mode of transportation.

Here's a series of a guy trying to get back up the hill (which only has a minimal dusting of snow but is pure ice underneath). He finally gave up and 'rode' his cardboard chariot (a reggae sled?*) back down again.

God, I just got goose bumps reading these msgs. and looking at those photos. Sending you warm thoughts right now and will try to get some "warm photos" to you today!

I just came in from doing some laundry (by hand of course) and washing my car and the sweat is running down my face. Ahhh, just what I love. As a born and bred New Englander it still amazes me that on January 18 I can be washing my car in shorts and T-shirt and not be frozen.

Come on down everyone - the weather is about 85 and sunny!! Oh, and the stars in the sky last night were amazing!

I love Jamaica!

First time I've seen the sun in a week.

One more shot of the cold...this one is of the big melt yesterday when temps finally got up to 40F. This huge ice icicle hanging out of the gutter was about 4 feet long. You can almost make out the water streaming off of it.

Well, this global warming is playing havoc in Australia also. Some parts of my large country are experiencing huge wild bushfires, followed by flooding and storms out of nowhere. Other areas are suffering from extreme drought. At least, where I am currently is sunny and warm. I love Jamaica too so don't forget that, even though I am so far off in Australia; Am looking forward to being in TB in April. Bless,
