My husband and I just returned from a wonderful vacation in Treasure Beach. We would like to assist the community, most especially in a way that would benefit education. Is there a group that benefits the school needs of children of Treasure Beach to which we might send a contribution? Also, we are not suspicious individuals, but I would want to feel confident that our money is being used for the students, not for administrative (or other) purposes.

Treasure Beach Foundation is devoted to educational assistance in the Treasure Beach area. We currently have five students in grade seven on scholarship. (One has a full scholarship to Hampton Academy; and four have recevied half scholarships -- one each to Munro, Black River, STETHS, and Manchester.) These scholarships cover tuition (school fees), books, school supplies, uniforms, transportation, and lunches. Also, each of the students has received a laptop fully loaded with software. In the fall of 2007 we will add another five students to the scholarship program; and we hope to continue to support the 2006 winners as they progress through high school. Approximately 95% of the money we receive is passed directly on to the students. For more information, please go to www.rainbowtreevillas.com and then to the Treasure Beach Foundation tab. Or, feel free to contact me directly.

Thank you very much in advance for any donation you make.

I've given to Treasure Beach Foundation. And I'll do so again this year. The only thing they concentrate on is education. I didn't realize such a substantial percent of what they collected went directly to the kids. This makes me feel even better about sending them money.

Definitely a worthy cause, set up and run by a lady who is dedicated to doing her best for the people of Treasure Beach.

Like Betsy above, we've given to the Treasure Beach Foundation and will do so again this year.

I had the privilege of going around with Mrs. Moxam (Sandy Bank Primary School Principal) when she informed the children of their being awarded the scholarships. These were very happy children and very proud parents.

What I love about this program is the children have to go through a process of approval. They truely earn the scholarships, which I believe, makes them appreciate it more.

I highly recommend and will continue to support the Treasure Beach Foundation Scholarship Program.
