I am traveling with a group to Treasure Beach to do the BREDS Triathlon. We are looking for reasonable accomodations ($100/night or less) that will provide rooms with two double beds as opposed to one bed in the room.

Any suggestions??

Try Dolphins Villa, there are a total of five rooms in the house, each room has it's own bathroom with two or a single bed. Nice living area and kitchen...

Thanks...I guess it was just being lazy on the typing....I know that the proceeds go to BREDS, so I guess thats why I used the name. Since I have already signed up for the race, I am very well aware of its official name. My apologies if it appeared to be a misrepresentation.

I have perused the Where To Stay link...I find that alot of the descriptions that I am reading do not specify the bed set up, just the number of rooms. Thus the reason for the inquiry.

No worries, Shelly. I was actually aiming my message at those who may not have heard of the Triathlon or had incomplete info about it.

Don't worry...most people you're going to meet in TB are not nearly as anal about things as I am :-)

Shelly, you can ask at Golden Sands regarding your accommodation. They have two separate beds in each room (at least in all of the rooms that I have stayed in there), but it's two single beds, not two double beds. You can also check Fairview Villas (two connected villas with 2 sleeping rooms each, can be rented together or separately), as far as I remember they also have two separate beds (bigger than a single bed) in each room. Try Fairhill Villa or 4M Cottage. Both have the kind of bed setup you want. Good luck in the triathlon.
