After reading all the comments on this previous post, I want to add a few positive words. Owning a small Guest House in business for over thirty years and being Licenced with the JTB for 15 years, I wish to say all of us in TB strive for Unity weather we are Licenced or not. High price Places send Guest who cannot pay their price to the cheaper places and the Cheaper Places send guests to the High Price places when they are looking for more than what we have to offer. High Price places put on events which cause many Cottages to be filled up whether they are licenced or not. Getting Licenced is not all about big bucks, it cost very little to do so, neither is it a bad idea to get registered regardless of whose idea it is and whether one choose to register or not is not cause for name calling.

For this New Year lets keep the Unity flowing in our Community.

Would the webmaster and unity kindly give us examples of name-calling in the "Interesting Article" thread?
We are hard-pressed to find them.

Thank you, and Happy New Year to one and all.

Please note that offensive messages do not get approved. They are deleted from the queue instead of being made public. That's why you don't see them.

Realize that there's a lot more going on than what you can see, as is the case for most things in life. (I certainly need reminding of that fact from time to time!)

And Happy New Year to Kyle and all the visitors to our site.

Unity2007, could you please tell us how guest houses and other places get licensed. Also, could you tell us why your guest house is not listed on the JTB website? I am asking because I did not see any guesthouses at all on that site. I agree that people need to work together and tha name calling is not proper. The road situation is far worse (to me) than if a place is licensed or not.

Once again, another lovely New Year's Eve Event, put on at Jakes last night. Almost every room in TB was filled.

Happy New Year to all

How to get Registered? - Contact JTB Office in Kingston or Montego Bay

Why me and the few other places like myself that are Registered are not on their Website? - That I have not questioned.
