Greetings All ... Somewhere in my reading about Treasure Beach I came across, though I forget where, a family with the last name "Browne." In the U.S., "Browne" is an uncommon spelling of the more commonly spelled "Brown." My maiden name is "Browne." I would be very happy to meet the Treasure Beach "Browne's" while I am there between 12/25/06 and 1/16/07. Who knows, we may be distant cousins ... stranger things have happened.

If any of you know of the family, please let them know I will be at Viking's House between those dates and would be honored to meet them.

Chris Browne is one of our respected film makers.

The 2nd Marquis of Sligo was a Browne and Governor of Jamaica in the 1830's.
