Here try this I think you need to go into returning residents and go from there. http://www.jis.gov.jm/ or www.jhuk.com this is the Uk one there might be one for the US
Raindrrr, thank you very much your information was a big help God bless.
When you and your husband arrive in Jamaica, go to the Ministry of National Security at 25 Constant Spring Road in Kingston and meet with an immigration officer. No appointment is necessary, but get there early. Bring travel documents, passports, photo I.D. Birth certificates, and your marriage licence. If either of you was married before, they may ask for divorce papers and information about children. Also bring a police report from the state in the U.S. where your husband is from. They will probably give your husband an extension on his visa and tell you if he will need a work permit or not, depending on your means of financial support, so bring bank statements, land title, etc. They may also ask him for a medical certificate. Best of luck to you both, and welcome home!
You can contact the Consulate General of Jamaica, New York as follows:
1)website: www.congenjamaica-ny.org
2)email: registry@congenjamaica-ny.org
3)Tel. (212) 935-9000
4)address: 767 Third Avenue, NY NY 10017
They can provide you with a package for returning residents which will detail all the necessary info.Best of luck!
